The magazine Connaissance des Arts is publishing a special issue dedicated to the Fountains Shows at Versailles. Produced in partnership with the Palace of Versailles and Château Versailles Spectacles, this special issue sheds light on the shows that bring the Palace gardens to life.

It presents the fountains and water features that bring the garden’s groves to life every summer during the Musical Fountains Shows: the Water Parterre, Latona Fountain, Apollo Fountain, Grove of the Three Fountains, etc., presenting the water show designed according to Louis XIV’s wishes, while the Fountains Night Shows evoke the great royal festivities at Versailles. This magazine also shows how the fifty basins, fountains and reservoirs comprising a complex hydraulic network are supplied with water.
