This notebook revisits the frivolous elegance of the 18th century. It is inspired by the drawings in the book "Galerie des modes et costumes français" begun in 1778. "In the 18th century, the elegance of French fashion radiated throughout the courts of Europe. These motifs, inspired by the "Traité des pierres précieuses et de la manière de les employer en parure" (Treatise on precious stones and how to use them in finery), illustrate all the refinement of embellishment at the time.

The "Galerie des modes" collection, designed by Happy Remix Productions, is inspired by prints and ornaments published in the "Galerie des modes et costumes français" and the "Traité des pierres précieuses". Find this collection in the eshop.
