This brooch represents Marie-Antoinette’s monogram. The letters M and A are interwoven and topped with the royal crown.

The Petit Trianon was given to Marie-Antoinette by her husband, King Louis XVI, at his accession. The Queen left her mark on this little palace. Her monogram can be found in many rooms.
