The Marly honey
2025 harvest
20,00 €
Discover the honey from the 2025 harvest: a floral honey with a fresh and intense character, produced by black bees from Île-de-France, thus contributing to the preservation of local species and biodiversity. Its delicate and fresh floral fragrance precedes a flavor enhanced by menthol notes. Mainly sourced from chestnut trees and subtly enriched by the estate’s flowers, it offers a beautiful balance and great finesse.
This harvest also reflects the rich vegetation of the Marly estate, formerly the private estate of the Sun King and enriched over the centuries…
After installing twelve hives at the Trianon Estate, eight additional hives were set up in 2022 within the Marly National Estate in order to further the environmental knowledge of the Palace of Versailles on this exceptional site.
The honey is exclusively available from the online store and in limited production.

In 1678, Louis XIV chose the village of Marly as the site for his new private estate. A secret, private place to which only a select few guests were allowed access, Marly became a residence for entertainment, parties, surprises, relaxation, experimentation, and ever-evolving pleasures, far removed from the rigid, unchanging protocol of Versailles. The mystery surrounding the place continued to contribute to its fame throughout the reign of its creator.
The Domaine de Marly has been managed by the Etablissement de Public de Versailles since 2009, marking the attachment of this highly historic and symbolic place to the Domaine de Versailles, three hundred and fifty years after its creation by Louis XIV.
