ARTHUS BERTRAND

X
PALACE OF VERSAILLES

The three medals, “The Sun King”, “Marie-Antoinette” and “Horse in Majesty”, reveal precious symbols present in the decor and gardens of the Palace of Versailles, such as Louis XIV’s emblem illustrated by the face of Apollo, Marie-Antoinette’s interlaced initials and the majestic horse, the King’s inseparable companion.

BICENTENARY EXPERTISE

All creations are made in France, in the Maison’s workshop in Saumur. At the heart of this facility, some 90 craftsmen work to bring the jewels to life, divided between the various design, jewelry and tooling workshops – the Maison makes its own tools – stamping, polishing, sculpting, engraving, assembling, electroplating, enameling, setting and quality control.

Traditional skills have always been present in the workshops: bas-relief, stamping, high-fire enameling and engraving. Carefully preserved and handed down by generations of craftsmen, they are still used today to produce Arthus Bertrand creations and jewelry.

A STRONG COMMITMENT

Preserving the beauty of our planet is a key concern for Maison Arthus Bertrand.

So, to reduce the environmental impact of jewelry manufacturing, all jewels are made from recycled precious metals.

At the same time, Maison Arthus Bertrand is developing its own program for the collection and valorization of recycled gold with COLLECTOR. Invited to take part in this virtuous and gratifying operation, customers can themselves bring in the gold from an old piece of jewelry, which will be recycled and used in the production of new jewelry by the Maison.
