Pop out card - King's Menagerie

29,00

For several years, the Roof design studio has been developing children's imaginations through cardboard constructions, and showcases design and poetry in each of its creations.

This year they team up with the RMN-GP to revive the Menagerie du Roi, Louis XIV's first big project when he arrived at the Palace of Versailles.
Built from 1662 in the Domain, its vocation was to host the wild and exotic animals of King Louis XIV. His impressive collection of animals allowed the king to show his power. Disappeared during the Revolution, its remains can still be visited in the area of the castle.

Material: Recycled cardboard and vegetable inks
