This case is part of a limited series made from the banners that covered the gates of the Domaine on the occasion of the exhibition "Hyacinthe Rigaud or the Sun portrait". Each piece of this collection is unique and hand-cut. Entirely made from recycled materials, this case has a full width metal zip.

Handmade in French workshops by the company Bilum, these pieces are made in factories specialising in saddlery, leather goods and luggage. Apart from being cleaned on both sides with a sponge, the tarpaulin has not received any additional treatment.

The exhibition "Hyacinthe Rigaud or the Sun portrait", organised both chronologically and thematically, focused on the career of Hyacinthe Rigaud, from his beginnings in Catalonia to his consecration in Paris. The exhibition included the self-portraits painted by the artist throughout his life, as well as an entire, spectacular section devoted to portraits of Louis XIV.
