This is the official poster for the “Guillaume Bresson Versailles” exhibition.

From January 21 to May 25, 2025, the Palace of Versailles presents an exhibition by contemporary artist Guillaume Bresson, a leading figure in French figurative painting.

In his hyperrealistic paintings, he presents fighting characters in street scenes, with references to religious and historical art. The artist’s works are exhibited in the Africa rooms, and thus enter into dialogue with the great battle scenes of Louis-Philippe’s colonial conquests.
