From a collection to your table

The litron cup takes its name from the Latin word "litra", a unit of liquid measurement. The Vincennes manufactory made the first one in 1752. This model comes with a small matching dish.

The litre cup, a highly sought-after collector's item, is always separate from a service. This one celebrates the birth of the dauphin of France, the first son of Louis XVI and Marie-Antoinette. The Maréchal de Saxe and, later, George Sand owned the original cup.

This model was in the historic collection made by the Anciennes Manufactures Royales de Limoges.
