"King's Way" (Allée du Roy) tea bag holder

27,09

This Limoges porcelain tea bag holder is shaped like a teapot and is designed to hold your used tea bags after brewing. The pattern is decorated with cornflowers surrounded by laurel crowns and gilt edging. It also features gilt trompe-l'oeil patterns that emphasise the teapot's volumes. This object can go into your dishwasher (short programme, average temperature).

You can also find in our Online Boutique the "King's Way" jar candle which has the same pattern. Limoges porcelain is manufactured according to a technique dating from the 18th century.

This product is manufactured by the Maison Raynaud, a family-run company that has perpetuated the tradition of Limoges porcelain since the 19th century. The cornflower pattern has been used for porcelain since the 18th century when it was the flower symbol of queen Marie-Antoinette's reign.
