This digital tablet cover is part of a limited series made from banners of the exhibition “Les Dames de Trianon”. Hand-picked and cut, each piece in this collection is unique.

Made entirely from recycled materials, it has a protective foam lining and metal-plated handle made from a safety belt. Its 10-inch format makes it suitable for iPads, tablets and netbooks.
 

The exhibition “Les Dames de Trianon” was held in the Grand Trianon palace from 3 July to 14 October 2012. Covering three centuries of French history, this retrospective evoked through a set of portraits the famous and less well-known women who lived in the estate of Trianon.

These bags are manufactured by the eco-design company Bilum in workshops specialising in saddlery, leather goods and luggage. Apart from being sponge cleaned on each side, the exhibition banners received no further processing.
