These two napkins in red and cream Toile de Jouy match the tablecloth of the same name.

They are printed with patterns illustrating the four seasons, with scenes of country life presenting the art of gardening, harvests, grape harvesting and winter leisure activities.

Created at the workshops of the Jouy-en-Josas manufacture in 1759, Toile de Jouy is a cotton fabric with printed patterns representing rural scenes, usually monochrome.
