The two sides of this purse represent two elegantly dressed women. These images are inspired by 18th-century fashion engravings.

Accessories were indispensable to round out one’s outfit in the 18th century. There had to be a lot of them and they had to be extravagant. Feathers adorned hairstyles, flowers adorned dresses. But the indispensable accessory was always jewellery, with pearls or precious stones.
