The October issue of Le Spectacle du Monde devotes a special 46-page report to Versailles.

The Estate is presented as a permanent building site that is gradually recovering its original aspect as a royal residence as well as its vocation as a centre of creativity. After the official opening of the new Palace History Gallery in June, the finally restored Mercury Salon reopens this month, while celebrations, shows and exhibitions will succeed each other throughout the autumn and into 2013.

This exceptional issue of Le Spectacle du Monde was written with the participation, among others, of Catherine Pégard, President of the Public Establishment of Versailles, Béatrix Saule, Director of the National Museum of the Palaces of Versailles and Trianon, and Alain Baraton, the chief gardener of the Estate.
