This spongy, strong, absorbent kitchen towel for intensive usage is delicately decorated with a series of topiaries in red. It will not leave any traces of lint on your dishes and is so well woven that the motif appears on both the front and back sides. The towel is easy to maintain: you can machine-wash it at 60°C. The motifs, originally drawn with black pencil and red chalk, are from an album entitled Décoration intérieure et jardins de Versailles, a collection of 58 early 18th-century red-chalk counter-proofs involving decoration and furnishings of royal, princely or private residences. The manuscript has been held in the Château de Versailles' collections since 1934.
