From the French gardens in front of the Palace to the English garden at Trianon, the Estate is dotted with extraordinary trees that bear living witness to an Estate that is four hundred years old. Of the 350,000 trees planted, thirty have been identified as admirable for their beauty, history or botanical rarity.

While some of these historic trees did not survive the devastating storm of 1999, several of the most remarkable specimens did, and now deserve to be showcased. To this end, a signposted itinerary has been set up, accompanied by a publication and audio commentaries available on the Palace of Versailles app.

This walk has been made possible thanks to the patronage of Maison Rémy Martin.
